Two new items for our 50th Anniversary Celebration! We have a new club QSL card (see above) that you can order today.  We've negotiated terrific pricing for these cards and batches are going to the printer on July 8th, July 15th and July 22nd. The cards are printed overseas so we need to get the orders in pronto so you'll be sure to have yours in time for our Special Event Contest in September.  Click HERE to learn all about the great new card (and to order yours!) And, speaking of the Special Event Contest: We're having a worldwide operating contest, only twelve hours long, in September.  We hope to interest operators world-wide in working SEDXC Members and earning a beautiful award. SEDXC Officers, 2007 - 2008: Elected officers: President:  Vice President:  Secretary:  Treasurer:  Activities Manager:  Appointed functions: Membership Chair:  Bulletin Editor:  Webmaster:    The Southeastern DX Club meets at The Fuqua Heart Center at Piedmont Hospital on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm.  Click HERE for directions.  Please try to attend.   Many of us meet before the meeting at Panera Bread, 2274 Peachtree Road (in the strip mall with Pier 1) just north of Piedmont Hospital around 6pm for dinner and then proceed to the meeting.  Come join us! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PARKING DETAILS: We have been asked by the Hospital to park in the North Deck.  Parking will still be free.  Get your parking pass stamped at the meeting.  If there are any questions when you leave the parking deck, inform the attendant that you were at a meeting of the Southeastern DX Club and that Mr. Maynard, President and CEO has told us that our parking is free. Come to the meeting for a good program and fellowship with fellow DX'ers.  All hams interested in DX are welcome.  Bring your friends! See you at the meetings! 73, The Southeastern DX Club was formed in 1958 by a group of hams in the Atlanta, Georgia area recognizing a growing need to supplement regular radio clubs with a specialized club for DXers.  If you have any interest in DX'ing drop by one of our club meetings and check us out.  We normally meet the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm.
